Program Highlights
Through our Peace Tree initiative, we plant native trees across the Washington, DC Metro Region to restore green spaces, improve air quality, and support local wildlife. By working hand-in-hand with community members and volunteers, we create calmer, healthier neighborhoods—one tree at a time.
Environmental Healing
Peace Trees provide essential habitats for birds and pollinators while supporting long-term ecological health. These plantings act as small but powerful steps toward healing the urban environment.
Community Greening
We plant native “Peace Trees” in neighborhoods throughout the DC Metro area to bring nature back into everyday spaces. Each tree contributes to cleaner air, cooler streets, and more inviting places to live.
Collective Care & Stewardship
We collaborate with neighbors, volunteers, and local organizations to plant and care for trees as they grow. This shared responsibility strengthens community bonds and ensures each Peace Tree thrives for years to come.
